Search for Cases with Configured Map Layers

You can specifically search for cases that have configured map layers.

PREREQUISITES: As of 15.8 and newer, your PLL administrator must enable the View function for the security role you belong to in order to search for PLL cases in Office. See Security Roles in the PLL Admin for 15.8 Guide for more information.

1. Open the search form.
2. On the General tab, select a case type with a map layer configured to it from the Type drop-down list.

This populates the Map Layers section on the General tab with the configured map layer fields.

3. Enter the information or value you want to search for in the map layer fields that appear in the Map Layers section.

4. Select the Map Layer Fields Visible in Search Results check box.

5. Select which fields you want to be visible in the search results section.

TIP: Use <Ctrl + click > or <Shift + click > to select multiple fields.

6. Once you have entered your search criteria, click Search.

Results matching your search criteria appear.
